HOW TO READ A SLOW WATCH?

Ahora son las
16:30

Aquí son las
18:15

Y adivina qué…
21:00

¿Un poco más de precisión? ¡No hay problema!: 12:23
¿Y habría algún problema si fuesen las 12:24?

  1. Do or do not (Yoda) - there is a try, too (Me) by Bernd Nurnberger

Decades ago, when looking for a next watch, I knew I wanted a 24 hour dial. The web was still small, and I found a few. None to my liking. Started sketching a few designs for two hands. It was very clear for me: a 24h dial has 12 on top and 00 on bottom. It follows the sun. When my wife suggested to get a new watch for a special anniversary, up came the 24h concept again. And then I found the Slow Mo. Fits my taste to try new technology - the true test of what works for me. Precise enough to do what I use a watch for. Wonder what next edge such design is capable of. How about a slow movement, with a tick a minute and less gearing for a slim case and long battery life?

  2. While everyone around me is rushing, Slow Mo helps me take my time... by Erika

I first saw these watches over 12 months ago and fell in love with the concept of being able to see my whole day in one place. As someone who has lost many years to the obsession with doing everything and experiencing nothing, the Slow Watch seemed the perfect addition to my plan to spend less time doing and more time just being. I heard rumours of a round watch so waited for that to be launched. The Slow O looks beautiful but I felt it would be too large for my wrist...so begins my relationship with Slow Mo. I LOVE it! It is beautifully made, elegant, sleek and stylish and perfect for a smaller wrist. I am amazed how quickly telling the time the SLOW way has become habit and love how it has changed the way I look at my day.

  3. Time Reimagined by Mark

I was intrigued by the elegance and simplicity of this watch and I have not been disappointed. It comes in very Apple-esk packaging such that when you open the inner box all you see is the round watch face. The bezel is brushed stainless steel. The crown is smooth and precisely moves the single hand when pulled to the second position. I found it very easy to operating the crown and setting the watch. The face has nothing on it but the hour (even hours are marked with numerals) and quarter hour markers, it reminds me of a pressure gauge with 00 (midnight) at the bottom. The rice grain style metal bracelet maintains the simplicity theme by using a deployment clasp that just firmly snaps into place on each side (very minimalist with buttons and unnecessary safety clasps stripped away). Telling time is easy and intuitive, morning on the left, afternoon on the right, noon at the top, midnight at the bottom, with just a glance you know the hour and lingering just a little longer tells you where you are in quarter hour increments. All this from what appears to be a nonfunctional second hand anchored in the center of the face with a small disk. In a world that is full of complications this watch beautifully provides only the essential in an elegant package. I could not be more happy with my purchase, time reimagined. l
